A Visit from Practice Cafe (or ‘Twas a Month Before Christmas)

'Twas a month before Christmas, and all through the office,
not a patient was stirring, something surely was amiss.
Nitrous masks hung in the operatories with care,
begging for patients to plop down in the chair.
The hygienists were lounging all snug in their scrubs,
dreaming of scalers and polish and gloves.
Away to the entrance the dentist did soar,
raised up the blinds and threw open the door.
The expanse of concrete in his empty parking lot
made his practice look closed, but of course it was not!
When, what to his cynical eyes should appear,
but a miniature diner, full of people and cheer!
A tall, quiet man was concentrating so hard,
the dentist knew it had to be Brian Liddiard.
Through the doors of the diner the employees came,
and as they lined up, Brian called them by name:
"There's Angie and Shana, and Becky and Jeff...
Shane, Joel, and Amanda, but there's still a few left!
Tara mails all the deals started by Jeff and Jen,
with help from her little assistant, Carson.
We're Practice Cafe, and we know we're the team
that can help you achieve your big marketing dream!"
Each marketing elf had a bag full of toys,
though none that would charm the little girls and boys.
These toys were for grownups, for dentists with wit,
who were looking for new tools for their marketing kit.
From websites and mailers to perf cards and pens,
"You name it, we've got it!" exclaimed Angie and Jen.
"There's SEO, internals, and logos galore,
rack cards, flyers, promo boards, and more!"
As they emptied their bags on the big, lonely lot,
the dentist exclaimed, "Look at all that you've got!
I've tried ads before, and they've just been so-so,
but that was advertising in phone books and radio.
We do need a makeover, and you guys have style,
perhaps I should try something new for a while!"
"You'll be glad you did, and your practice will, too.
It's amazing to see what smart marketing can do!"
The team waved goodbye to the dentist and clan,
leaving samples, ideas, and a marketing plan.
As he ran back inside and gathered his staff,
the incredulous dentist couldn't help but laugh;
"Get ready for new patients, Practice Cafe's marketing us right!"
Smart marketing to all, and to all, a good night!
